Community Service

In 2003, the American Dental Association Foundation’s Give Kids a Smile Program began with the idea to provide dental treatment to children with no access to dental care. Dr. Shreck was the founder and is the current Co-Chair of Nassau County Dental Society’s Give Kids A Smile Program.

Since 2003, the nationally recognized program has helped treat and educate over 10,000 under-served children in the county. In 2014, he was the second recipient of the American Dental Association Foundation’s prestigious Jeffrey Dalin, DDS Give Kids A Smile Volunteer Award for his outstanding achievements.
